My canon event was a theft.

Someone broke my car window while I was still inside and took my phone. That was bad enough. Then I found out they'd accessed the phone and the bank had granted them a loan in my name. I was left with a huge debt.

I got my money back three months later, after it was proven that the thieves had used AI to trick bank employees into sharing my personal data.

That changed how I think about software that "just works". When it handles people's money, security has to be part of the design from the start.

People also need help learning how to use new technology safely. I think teaching that is part of a developer's responsibility.

Building things for myself and the people around me is how I learn. I've made two apps for my rugby club, one for members and another for players, and some personal finance web apps.

## What I'm doing now

I'm studying Computer Engineering at ITBA, the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology. I'm focusing on cybersecurity and building efficient AI agents. After what happened to me, I want to build software that helps protect people.

I'm also playing rugby and raising a Border Collie who has strong opinions about my screen time.
